Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has left a mark on the screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. De La Garza moved soon to Texas, where she studied the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. There she played many roles, ranging in local independent films as well as global commercials. Even with the minor role, she found acting as her true interest. After 2001, she relocated into New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's daytime soap opera in the role of Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first big series role was in the 2004 short-lived television drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to share the screen with some famous TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. Her next role was on the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards for this character including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominated. In 2008, De La Garza received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza, in a recurring cast role in CSI Miami was announced a couple of minutes after. She portrayed Marisol Deko, Horatio the wife of actor Michael Caine. She was Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. After only two episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister is Cory and is Italian through descent. Her family was a very strict and spiritual one. Milano started her acting career when she was seven when her babysitter joined her at an audition. Four girls were selected from more than a thousand hopefuls. Milano has appeared in TV ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as in the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
